"We may be forgotten in the future, but at least we have each other."
Something I thought about regarding Vocaloid 3 engine, the anticipated successor to the Vocaloid 2 engine.(I like this pairing.Problem officer?)
"Vocaloid software however, is now confirmed unsupported as of 2011 by Yamaha and voicebanks Leon, Lola, Miriam, MEIKO and KAITO cannot be imported into Vocaloid 3. These voicebanks will slowly be fazed out in the expected future. "
I felt like being sobbu about it,so why not?And for once,MEIKO doesn't look drunk-ish and is actually showing emotion (or maybe I failed in that aspect).MEIKO being drunk is somewhat often seen, since her character item is sake.(Like Yowane Haku, whose character item is a bottle of sake.) How the fans came up with that,I have no idea, and I avoid forums as much as I avoid people in real life. Also,KAITO isn't like what fans usually depict him.Not saying, because I somewhat disapprove of said depiction. =____= Why do I feel like drawing this?BECAUSE.
Because I kinda hate my previous general art direction.I change it.Big deal.
Also,I need to start drawing stuff with non-technical aspects in mind,as in emotional impact and whatnot.I'm a little too reliant on technical aspects,so much that I heavily practice on them alone, while completely disregarding that drawing is comprised of so much more.
We need the legendary Meiko Master,Nanameue-P.Nanameue-P,where are you? D: (He's also famous for his Meiko Sakine covers.Quite addicted to the Honey cover, originally sung by a Taiwanese singer.)
Well, they're not exactly non-existent.They're just unsupported by the new engine.
But think about it.Vocaloid 2 now enjoys all the benefits of the new engine, not to mention that they're way more popular.Plus, new Vocaloid 3s are being introduced, and their only real competitors are Vocaloid 2s.I think producers have to adapt to this whether they like it or not,and introduce Vocaloid 2s and 3s(the singers and the engine I mean) as part of their works. In time,Vocaloid 1s will be forgotten as they're obsolete, whether by production or technological aspects, being far outdated.
I kinda like viewing them,all of the Vocaloids,as a family.So,reading that kinda gave me a shock. :<
That,and I don't know any other way. |D
